Thai massage, often called "assisted yoga" or "the lazy person's yoga," is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and yoga-like stretching. Unlike oil-based massages, traditional Thai massage is performed fully clothed on a comfortable floor mat, and does not use oil. The therapist uses their hands, elbows, knees, and feet to apply rhythmic pressure along the body's energy lines (Sen lines) while guiding the body through a series of yoga-inspired stretches and postures.
At Nvibe Day Spa, our Thai-trained therapists deliver an authentic, invigorating experience that leaves you feeling lighter, more flexible, and deeply energised.
You'll change into loose, comfortable Thai massage clothing provided by us. Your therapist discusses your flexibility and any joint issues.
Beginning at the feet, systematic thumb and palm pressure applied along Sen energy lines up the legs, combined with gentle knee-stretching.
Deep acupressure along the back's energy lines, with passive spinal twists and forward bends to release deep lumbar tension.
Shoulder and arm stretches, neck traction, and upper back pressure points are addressed with careful, graduated pressure.
The signature feature: guided yoga-like postures that open hips, spine, and shoulders, creating a feeling of lightness and renewed energy.
